CARS.COM — It’s April, car shoppers and enthusiasts, and that means it’s time again for the year’s most ironic automotive exhibit, the New York International Auto Show. L.A. and Detroit make total sense — even Chicago — but in a city where significantly more than half of residents don’t even own a car? Wait, have we made that joke about New York before? Well if we can make there, we can make it anywhere.
Like the Big Apple itself, NYC is shaping up to be among the busiest auto shows of the year, with scheduled unveilings already approaching two dozen. And there are some doozies, too.
Tuning Auto Show 2017 Jaguar F Pace
For performance junkies, there’s the hotly anticipated debut of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, along with the 2017 Honda Civic Type R and 2018 Audi TT RS. For families, there’s the 2018 Toyota Sienna minivan. Concept fans and SUV enthusiast alike will enjoy the Toyota FT-4X and 2018 Infiniti QX80 Monograph. And members of the cult of Subaru — a demographic all their own — can double their pleasure, double their fun with the 2018 Crosstrek and Outback.

Times, Dates, Place & Prices
Following media and industry previews Tuesday through Thursday, the show opens to the public April 14-23 at New York’s Jacob Javits Convention Center, on 11th Avenue between 34th and 40th streets. Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $17 for adults, $7 for children age 12 or younger (kids age 2 or younger are free); discounted tickets for adult groups of 20 or more are $15 each, and child groups of 10 or more are $5 each.
